Bewitched And Betrayed: Beauty That Claims Souls

Her Ah-Lure

In Moonlights’ whisper; where shadows creep,

Haunting the night with a secret deep.

Her beauty hidden; ‘neath a hat quite wide,

“Beware the dance of danger!” elders chide.

Her gown flows; the soft breath of a lover,

The La Diablesse you’ve found – Her.

A Siren’s call; a haunting wail,

Her meal ensnared; without fail.

“Come closer dear traveler; don’t be shy,

For in my arms; lost souls lie.”

The path unwinding, twisted and dark,

Echoes of caution igniting a spark.

Hubris blinding; heart and mind,

Her spell weaves tight, their souls entwined.

Cloven hoof hidden; ‘neath hem,

The mark; of a wicked Gem.

With each step drawn; the Darkness sighs,

With shadows stretched; and reason Dies.

“Linger a while,” her voice oozes sweet,

A nectar laced with deceitful heat.

But once drawn near; a flicker reveals,

The truth behind Beauty – no longer a veil.
